Rishika's Scrumptious Homemade Dessert Soaps

Imagine stepping into your favourite bakery and being instantly hit with the warm delicious aroma of baked goodies and sugary hugs. Walking into the brightly lit studio space of The Sass Bar felt like stepping into a confectionery wonderland. The sweet smells swirling through the air immediately awoke the senses, tempting our taste buds and igniting a craving for something scrumptious with icing.

The ambience of the studio is nothing short of alluring, reminiscent of a charming Parisian patisserie. Soft pastel hues adorn the walls, exuding an air of whimsy and elegance that is as inviting as it is inspiring. Settling into a cozy nook near the window, it's easy to see why Rishika is so passionate about her craft. Her eyes light up as she shares her artisanal dessert soap journey, her love for creativity evident in every word she speaks.

Reflecting on her inspiration, Rishika recounts her serendipitous encounter with artisanal soaps during a trip to Australia. "The colors, the fragrances – it was nothing like I had ever seen before," she reminisces. The experience sparked a desire in her to bring this sensory experience to India and elevate the dessert soap market here.

Drawing from her background in fashion and her penchant for creativity, Rishika set out to create soaps that not only smelled divine but looked good enough to eat. And thus, The Sass Bar was born – a whimsical oasis where soaps become an experience.

From decadent dessert-inspired soaps to playful shapes and vibrant colours, every creation is infused with Rishika's unique vision and passion for fun. "I love making soaps that look real," she says with a grin.

"The idea of showering with waffles just makes me laugh."

But beyond the aesthetics lies a deeper commitment to quality and craftsmanship, with each soap meticulously crafted using the finest ingredients. With the same tools you would find in a bakery, she poured the ingredients that would soon become soap into a chocolate mould, before moving onto a pastry slice that she finished off with a piping bag. Lavender, strawberry and vanilla, all the flavours of a sugar craving that you can’t take a bite of!
