This saree is name after a flower that grew in my mother's garden. All my summers from age one to seventeen were spent at her childhood home - and the only fun pastime was to water the huge garden her mother maintained. And in a sea of pinks, lavenders and reds, these summer-fresh orange thecchi flowers beautified the entire garden! The vibrant colours of the saree carry the liveliness of those flowers from my childhood summers. This saree is made in a rust coloured cotton-mul mix fabric, with black hand-made tassels at the end.
